Blogging Boldly with Heleni

My Cypriot cousins were here in South Africa for holiday and their father is my mom’s cousin so basically they are my 3rd cousins. We had lots of fun and went to places they wanted to go, like the upside down house, the zoo and the casino to eat dinner.

Friday Afternoon:

My Cypriot cousins came over at around 17:00.

We played around with our makeup, it was really fun, Elektra was really good at doing her makeup, she does her own make up for her rhythmic gymnastics, she’s amazing at it! 🤩

After that, we played outside on the trampoline and playground and played my with super energetic doggie. 😝

For dinner we ate South African food (braaibroodjies, and braai vleis) at home, it’s something different for them, the braaibroodjies was Athena-Sophia’s favourite!!!

But we ate very late.

Saturday:

Saturday morning we ate out for breakfast at a buffet.

We went to an upside down house it made us very dizzy!

Later on we went to the… MALL! It was so exciting, but we kept getting lost because the mall was huge. 😅

Athena-Sophia wanted clothes for when she goes back to school in Cyprus.

Fun fact, in Cyprus the new school year starts in September. 😜

For dinner, my mother made a reservation at a steak house restaurant in the casino.

After a wonderful dinner, we went to go play games and only ended up getting home at 23:30, everybody couldn’t wait to sleep!

Sunday:

We went to the zoo for them to see The Big Five; Buffalo, Cheetah, Rhino, Elephant and lastly the Lion. 😋

Now my camera is loaded with dozens of pictures of animals and I can’t decide which ones I should get rid of or not! 😭😂

Before they had to leave for their next destination, Sun City, we got ice-cream and water. Then they carried on their holiday journey! 

In conclusion, the weekend was extremely fun and adventurous. The next time I’lll see my cousins is in Cyprus!
